The painter Christiaan was born in 1933
in Rotterdam,
where he studied at the academy of fine art.
He first started painting
when he met a Catholic Priest - Mr. Sterrenberg - whom he met at the
age of 15.
While continuing with his painting,
he then became involved
in the advertising industry -
illustrating for an advertising agency.
From then until 1995
he worked as an art director in
Holland, Kenya, Singapore and Indonesia.
Through his extensive travelling & experiences throughout the world
he has developed a wide view of interest,
which is now inspiring the colourful interpretations
of his impressions. |
